LUI TRESHTSHANSKI

LUI TRESHTSHANSKI
            He was born in Bialystok.  He studied in religious primary schools and secular subjects privately.  He was active in the general Zionist movement.  He served as secretary of TOZ (Towarzystwo Ochrony Zdrowia [Society for the protection of health]) in Bialystok.  On several occasions he was selected to join Bialystok Jewish literary circles.  He published poetry and novellas in Undzer lebn (Our life) and the jubilee issues of Naye lebn (New life), among other Bialystok publications.  He belonged to the younger literary group in Bialystok.
