B. (BEKHAYE) YOGIKHES
            He was born in Vilna. He worked as a private Hebrew and Russian teacher.  He published in Vilna in the 1870s and 1880s a variety of pamphlets, originals and translations from Russian, such as: Der held yermak mit di royber (Yermak the hero and the robbers), in two parts (Vilna, 1874), 63 pp.—“This is a wonderful, beautiful story of the great hero Yermak who in the year 1580 conquered Siberia under Russian authority, translated from Russian by Bekhaye” [Yankev Yisroel Khurim].
