YABLONKE
He was born in Nayshtetl, Lodz
district, Poland. He studied in
religious elementary school, later becoming a laborer. He published his first poems in Nayer folksblat (New people’s newspaper)
in Lodz (1931), and later he contributed to: Vokhnshrift far literatur (Writings for literature), Y. M.
Vaysenberg’s Inzere hofening (Our
hope), and the anthology Zalbeakht (All
eight of us) in 1932 in which he placed a cycle of poems—all in Warsaw. There has been no information about him since
WWII.
