ROZA GOLDSHTEYN (b. ca. 1870)
She was born in Pyriatyn, Poltava region, Ukraine. Her first poems were published in the
literary supplement to Yidishes tageblat (Jewish daily newspaper) in St.
Petersburg (1888). She also published
poetry in Y. L. Peretz’s Di yudishe biblyotek (The Yiddish library), vols. 1 and 2 (Warsaw, 1891).
