YITSKHOK-ARYE BERGER
He was born in Hivniv (Uhniv), Galicia. He wrote poetry in Hebrew and Yiddish. He published in the journal Tsushtayer
(Contribution) in Lemberg (a short novel entitled Finstere gasn [Dark
street]), and in Naye folksbkat (New people’s newspaper) in Lodz (March
23, 1938). He perished somewhere in the
ghetto during the Nazi reign in Poland.
