P. BENAVIV (b. 1912)
He was born in Mezritsh (Międzyrzecz). He attended religious primary school as well
as public school. From 1933 he was
living in Palestine as a laborer. He started
publishing poems in 1932 in Nayvelt (New world) and in other publications
of the Yiddish writers group in Israel.
He was a contributor to Erets-yisroel shriftn (Writings from the
Land of Israel) (Tel Aviv, 1937).
