HIRSH ALTMAN

HIRSH ALTMAN
He came from Novogrudok, Poland.  He studied in secular junior and senior high schools.  In the period 1934-1939, he was in Warsaw, working as a teacher of drawing and handicrafts in the Tsisho schools.  He organized a school exhibition, and he wrote articles about pedagogical and practical matters at school.  He published in Shul-vegn (School ways) in Warsaw, no. 4-5 (1934), no. 6-7 (1935), no. 1-2 (1937).  When war erupted in 1939, he was in Novogrudok.  His fate remains unknown.
